Heute gibt es ein Museum in Wuppertal: BMB - Bergische Museumsbahnen | On 31st May 1987 the era of the Wuppertaler tramway system ended. Politicians of all parties implemented the false resolution. At this time there was unfortunately still no citizen desiring. Many citizens of our city cannot accept it until today. So that the memory remains alive, I show on these homepage a few photos. You will see different pages. We had two differend gauges. 1435 mm and 1000 mm gauge. If the photographers are kown to me, they will be designated. Enjoy paging through these sites. If you have suggestions to these pages, feel free to send an email. You find the address in the left column. Today we have a living Museum in Wuppertal: BMB - Bergische Museumsbahnen Have a look! |

At the area of the former tram depot is stored a new factory, called Wasi, specialised for technical equipment. They changed the depot inside like a big store. From Dortmund they ordered tram 87. Wasi decoreated tram 87 into Wuppertal design. In front of the depot tram 87 now named as 3825 ist stored on some rest tracks. To protect "3825" again the weather condition they build up a small galery. Both photos are taken by Joachim Schad - Wuppertal |
